To promote the growth of the Chinese hemp palm, it needs a full sun, warm location, high temperatures, regular watering, spraying the leaf fans in hot weather, repotting every 3 years and fertilizing every 2 weeks from April to September.
A fan palm up to 15 m high
Bottom: A slender and upright covered trunk. At the top there are numerous, dark green leaf fans up to 1.60 m wide. The Chinese hemp palm reaches a height of up to 15 m and a trunk circumference of up to 1.10 m. This makes it a medium-sized fan palm.

This palm hardly grows during the winter. But in summer you can stimulate growth:

Tip
Attention: Female specimens grow more slowly in adulthood than male specimens.
