Location and directions
As there are only a limited number of parking spaces available around the park, we recommend arriving by public transport. Various S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines stop in the immediate vicinity of the entrances. If you take the U 5 towards Hönow to the “Kienberg” station, you can use the popular cable car and float across the area to “Blumberger Damm”.

Description
The Marzahn Recreation Park was inaugurated on the occasion of the city's 750th anniversary in 1987. Eleven themed gardens are gradually being added, including a Balinese, oriental, Korean and Christian garden. The Chinese “Garden of the Reclaimed Moon” is one of the visitor magnets. It symbolizes reunification and is at the same time Germany's largest plant of its kind. The Karl Förster perennial garden, whose striking solitary shrubs and magnificent flowering perennials form a sea of flowers all year round, is the attraction for all lovers of flowering plants.
