How do you water hyacinths correctly?
Hyacinths in the garden usually do not need any additional watering in spring. When caring for them in pots, you should only water them when the upper part of the potting soil has dried out. During the rest period, the hyacinth is not watered at all. Avoid waterlogging and water directly onto the bulbs.
Watering hyacinths in the garden
In spring, when the spring flowers need the most moisture, the garden soil is usually well moistened. Additional watering is therefore unnecessary.

Water the hyacinth in the pot during the flowering period whenever the upper part of the potting soil has dried out.
Never wet the onions directly with water. Pour the water only onto the soil around the tuber.
