How can I propagate my “Endless Summer” hydrangea?
The “Endless Summer” hydrangea can be propagated by cuttings, planters or division. Cuttings are cut in summer and rooted in the growing substrate or glass of water, while cuttings are rooted on the mother shoot and division is the division of the plant at the root.
Propagation by cuttings
Hydrangeas like the farmer's hydrangea “Endless Summer” are easiest to propagate using cuttings. The best time for propagating cuttings is the summer months of June and July, although you should select shoots without flower buds or remove any that may be present. Propagate hydrangeas via planters
The “Endless Summer” hydrangea can also be propagated very well and easily using planters. To do this, select suitable, he althy shoots without flower buds and remove all foliage except for two leaves at the tip. Now bend the shoot down to the ground and cut the area to be rooted at a slight angle. This area is placed in a small depression, fixed and covered with soil. The shoot tip remains free. The roots form after about a year, until then the young plant should remain attached to the mother plant.
