Muscle cypresses in pots get a sunny spot on the terrace. They need to be watered more frequently. Normal garden soil is sufficient as a substrate.
Tip
Muscle cypresses tolerate neither drought nor waterlogging. In order to keep the soil moisture constant, a layer of bark mulch (€14.00 on Amazon) around the tree has proven useful.
