With a gravel path you are not tied to predetermined shapes, as is the case with a path made of paving slabs. You can therefore create wonderfully curved paths with gravel. Varying the width of the garden path is also easily possible with gravel. However, you shouldn't overdo it, otherwise the path and therefore your garden will quickly appear restless and therefore perhaps inharmonious.
Does a gravel path need a base?
A garden path made of gravel should also have a base so that it lasts a long time and looks well-maintained. The substructure, also known as the base layer, prevents the gravel or gravel from mixing with the earth underneath. How do I create a gravel path?
