Which balcony plants bloom from February?
In February, snow roses (Helleborus niger), spring cyclamen (Cyclamen coum), Himalayan saxifrage (Saxifraga lilacina), fragrant violets (Viola odorato) and bulb flowers such as snow shine (Chionodoxa forbesii), snow crocus (Crocus crysanthus), winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) and spring knotweed (Leucojum vernum) for colorful balconies.
Heralds of spring for boxes and pots – flower festival from February
In February the uncrowned winter queen is in full bloom. The snow rose (Helleborus niger) actually prefers an undisturbed location in the bed. For a breathtaking season, the winter-flowering perennial with its white to pink cupped flowers still likes to hold court on the balcony. The following heralds of spring are happy to join in:
