Lindau is located on a peninsula protruding into Lake Constance. Despite the limited area of only 70 hectares, there are numerous green refuges here, directly overlooking the water. This fact as well as the carefully selected exhibitors make the annual garden days one of the top events in the Lake Constance district.

The Lindau Garden Days will take place from May 3rd to 5th, 2019 on the Uferweg and the adjacent areas. The event offers plant diversity, garden design, garden accessories, garden furniture and culinary delicacies in a unique atmosphere on Lake Constance.

The main theme for 2019 is: Perennials – the heart of the garden
Garden fair with holiday flair
The location directly on the shore of Lake Constance, with a view of the still snow-covered Alpine peaks, offers visitors an ambience that stands out from similar events. The focus of the event concept is the variety of plants as well as the garden design, useful garden accessories and garden furniture. High-quality handcrafted accessories round off the offering. Of course, topics such as natural fashion and wellness are not neglected either. With culinary delicacies accompanied by musical acts and artistic performances, you can take in the unique atmosphere.
The approximately 130 exhibitors include well-known horticultural companies who have the most beautiful perennials in their luggage. The experts are available to advise you on planting and care. The flowering perennials that are the focus this year are the subject of various high-level expert lectures that take place in the Powder Tower and in the lecture tent. Other topics include diseases and pests in boxwood, edible weeds, perennial care throughout the year and environmentally friendly plant protection.
Our tip: Lindau's historic old town with its magnificent houses, romantic alleys and small green spaces is also worth a visit. Here you can let the impressions of the garden fair last and relax in one of the numerous cafés and restaurants with a view of Lake Constance.
