Croton is a poisonous houseplant
The miracle bush is poisonous in all parts of the plant. Neither leaves, flowers nor shoots must therefore reach the hands or even mouths of children and pets. If you don't want to do without Kroton, put it out of reach.
Wear gloves when grooming
As a spurge plant, leaves and shoots contain the whitish milky sap. It can cause skin irritation in sensitive people and leaves stains on clothing.
Always wear gloves (9.00€ on Amazon) when you have to cut or repot the croton.
Do not leave any plant parts lying around and always pick up fallen leaves straight away.
Tip
Croton can be cultivated very well in hydroponics. To re-habituate an older plant, you must completely rinse the substrate. The miracle bush is then placed in appropriate containers.
