What is a Smart Garden System?
A Smart Garden System makes it possible to automatically control garden maintenance such as lawn mowing and irrigation. These include a waterproof Wi-Fi repeater, robotic lawnmower and irrigation system that can be controlled via an app and adjusted to weather conditions to save time and manpower.
What can the systems do?
Complete systems are available from various providers. They usually consist of the following modules:

The system uses its own gateway located in the home network, through which you can connect the individual components to each other and to a corresponding app. Only the gateway is directly connected to electricity, the other modules are equipped with batteries or solar cells.

Control via app
With some systems you can view on a map which areas have already been mown. The device can also be activated while you are on the move, for example if you want certain areas of the garden to be mowed in a targeted manner.
Intelligent irrigation systems regularly measure soil moisture and start watering if it falls below a preset value. You can easily make adjustments depending on the season using your smartphone. Since the data collected is displayed over the course of several days, you can see at any time what the water supply is like for your lawn or beds. Watering with a can or hose is not possible so precisely tailored to the plants. In addition, the flow rate of water feature and stream pumps can be regulated.
