How long and how often should you water daffodils in a pot?
The cooler the daffodils are, the less water they need. Since the living room is often heated in spring, it is important to check the soil every third day with a thumb test. The environment should be evenly moist, but not wet. It is also important that the pot has water drainage holes so that there is no waterlogging.
Do the daffodils need fertilizer?
After purchase, daffodils in pots do not need to be fertilized. It is only recommended to add fertilizer 6 to 8 weeks later.

How do you care for daffodils as cut flowers in a vase?
So that the daffodils last a long time in the vase, their stems should be shortened daily with a knife. Immediately afterwards they are placed in the water. The water can be enhanced with a little lemon juice or a splash of vinegar. In general, it is better to wear gloves when handling. Daffodils are poisonous and contain skin-irritating substances.
Tips & Tricks
When the flower buds are visible, it is advisable to move the daffodil to a cooler place such as in the hallway. The flowers last longer there.
