What factors should you consider when combining floribunda roses?
To enhance the splendor of the floribunda roses, you should consider the following factors when combining:
- Flower color: white, yellow, apricot, pink, red or violet
- Flowering time: June to September
- Location requirements: sunny, permeable and nutrient-rich soil
- Growth height: 50 to 80 cm
When planting and combining bed roses, pay attention to the height to be achieved. This can vary depending on the variety. The visual fusion of blue delphiniums with yellow or red floribunda roses is absolutely phenomenal. If you like it more delicate and calm, combine the delphinium with purple floribunda roses. But be careful: with its long inflorescences, the delphinium usually rises higher than floribunda roses. So plant it behind the chosen roses.
Combine floribunda roses with candytufts
The partnership of white or pink floribunda roses with candy flowers ensures romantic moments in the bed. However, you should make sure to place the candytufts in the foreground with their low growth height so that the bed roses do not cover them.
