There are always fruit flies on the ceiling, why?
Fruit flies can live up to 6 weeks. It is possible that some specimens have survived your attempts to control them. In addition, fruit flies can settle again in large numbers and permanently if they findplenty of food. Have you made sure that fruit and vegetables are no longer left open in the room? It is best to store fruits and vegetables only in the refrigerator. Also remember to clean drains and keep trash cans closed and emptied daily.
