Under optimal conditions, grass grows quickly and easily. The prerequisite is soil with good nutrient content and regular lawn care. Frequent mowing in particular has a positive effect on growth.
How can I promote the growth of my lawn?
To optimize lawn growth, you should mow regularly without cutting the grass too deeply, fertilize the lawn once or twice a year, and spray sufficiently but in a controlled manner to ensure deep water penetration.
Mowing regularly makes the grass sprout
Mowing stimulates the growth of the lawn. But don't cut the grass too deep. The lawn should be at least two centimeters high.
Fertilize enough but not too much
You should fertilize the lawn once, at most twice a year, to ensure good growth. To be on the safe side, have a soil analysis carried out so that you can supply the soil with missing nutrients.
Blasting – not so often, but really
Blast only once a week or at most every four days, but then blast so hard that the water penetrates at least ten centimeters into the ground.
Tips & Tricks
If you can't or don't want to mow that often yourself, get a robot lawn mower (€509.00 on Amazon). It cuts the grass to the optimal height and works almost automatically.
