The calla can only develop properly in a favorable location. As a plant native to the swampy areas of South Africa, it needs a lot of light. Very few varieties are hardy, so you have to find another location in winter.

The ideal location for a calla lily is bright, but without direct midday sun, warm, sheltered from the wind and frost-free. In summer it can be kept in a pot on the terrace or balcony, although it should always be kept moist.

Calla likes it bright and tolerates sun well. The only thing you won't get is direct sunlight around midday. Provide shade.
