What location does the wood anemone need?
The wood anemone prefers a location in light shade, for example under deciduous trees or on the edge of bushes. It requires at least 2 hours of sunshine per day and a humus-rich, nutrient-rich, moderately moist, fresh, slightly loamy and well-drained soil with a pH value of 6.5 to 7.5.

The wood anemone grows without any problems in light shade, for example on the edge of bushes or under deciduous trees. Its advantage: Its early growing season allows it to thrive undisturbed under otherwise shady plants. 2 hours of sunshine per day is enough for the Anemone nemorosa to feel comfortable.

The protected wood anemone grows for many years without any problems in a deep subsoil that has the following characteristics:

Tips & Tricks
