The plant also feels very comfortable in partially shaded places, provided it is protected.

The “Limelight” hydrangea is also pleasantly uncomplicated when it comes to soil and also thrives wonderfully in sub-optimal substrates. Of course, a nutrient-rich, slightly acidic to neutral soil is best.
Tips & Tricks
Especially in sunny locations, the hydrangea needs to be generously watered because - like all hydrangeas - it draws a lot of water. Even in dry conditions, you need to water regularly.
