African violets are poisonous to cats and can cause symptoms such as staggering, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, paralysis, tremors and dilated pupils. Cat owners should therefore not keep African violets in their household.
African violets are toxic to cats
While African violets are not poisonous to humans, they are very poisonous to cats. You can recognize that your cat has been poisoned by these typical symptoms:

Be mindful
When caring for it, you should be careful that no leaves or flowers end up on the ground. In the event of poisoning, a dose of water and activated charcoal as well as a trip to the vet will help.
