They should be large, round tubers with brown, yellow or white skin. So that the tuber can develop well, the celeriac is placed at a distance of 30 to 40 cm.
Variable celery stalk
A planting distance of between 30 x 30 cm is also ideal for celery stalks. This gives the celery enough space to develop strong petioles. Wide-growing varieties can be planted at 40 x 40 cm so that the leaves do not touch each other.

Cut celery is a little more space-saving. It works with a distance of 20 to 25 cm.
