How should pampas grass be watered?
When watering pampas grass, it is important to water frequently during the growing season, avoid waterlogging, and never water directly into the center of the plant. If you have pampas grass in a pot, regular watering is essential and excess water in the saucer should be drained.
Watere frequently during the growing season
Pampas grass, after sowing, prefers a loose, sandy soil in which no waterlogging can form. Since the substrate can hardly store water, you have to water and fertilize the plant regularly during the growing season.
This is especially true if you care for pampas grass in a pot. Regular watering is absolutely necessary here.
To prevent waterlogging, the planter must have sufficiently large drainage holes in the bottom. After watering, check to make sure the soil has absorbed all the water. If there is water in the saucer or planter, you should drain it immediately.

The clump of pampas grass is very sensitive to moisture. Therefore, always water around the plant and never directly in the middle.
