Put opaque film on the lawn for a few weeks and secure it with stones or tent pegs. Due to the lack of light, the small brownwort dies. The lawn also turns brown, but recovers quickly from this treatment.
Tip
The Little Brownelle is often planted in the garden as a ground cover under trees and bushes. It forms dense carpets there and blooms from June to August. The pretty white, red and purple flowers are a real insect magnet.
