The zigzag bush has certain demands on its location. In an unfavorable place it loses its leaves or does not bloom. How to find a good location for zigzag shrubs.
What location does a zigzag shrub need?
The ideal location for a zigzag shrub is bright, but not directly sunny, with temperatures around 15 degrees in summer and 5 to 10 degrees in winter. Partial shade and an outdoor area protected from the rain are also recommended. Locations that are too dark or warm can cause leaf loss.
Finding the right location
The zigzag bush only develops its full beauty in a favorable location:
- beautifully bright
- not exactly sunny
- not too warm
- outside protected from rain
- frost-free and cool in winter
The zigzag shrub cannot tolerate too much direct sun. Place the bucket in a partially shaded location. Keep it in your room all year round, protect it from direct sunlight, especially at lunchtime.
The temperatures should be around 15 degrees in summer. In winter, the shrub, which is only partially hardy, is hibernated frost-free at around 5 to 10 degrees. Depending on the breeding, the shrub can also have better winter hardiness down to -15°C and can therefore be overwintered outside in mild areas.
Tip
The zigzag bush does not feel comfortable in a location that is too dark or too warm. He then loses his leaves.
