How should I plan the greenhouse size for my garden?

But then the heating costs get out of hand!?
No, they don't, because: Larger greenhouses heat up faster and even form a kind of heat buffer. This means that in the case of a heatable house, the energy costs increase based on the square meter of area, decrease because the ratio between the internal air volume and the heat-emitting outer skin becomes proportionally more favorable as the area increases.
How to plan the greenhouse size safely
It would be optimal to havea kind of planting overview,which is already incorporated into the concrete construction planning. Also take into account factors that may seem irrelevant at the moment, but will be important later:
- Should be planted on the ground or in sowing tables;
- Do all potted plants, succulents or the constantly growing orchids have to be grown upright or can this also be done hanging?

If, based on current knowledge, you do not want an alternative (joint) use as a winter garden: Are you really sure that (even after years) you will NOT long for a quiet and green spot as a retreat from your stressful old age?

The appetite often only comes when you eat, especially with freshly grown organic vegetables. Therefore, if your budget and legal building regulations allow it, in case of doubt it is better to build one size larger. At least as far as the size of the greenhouse is concerned, later corrections are difficult and expensive.
