Thuja Smaragd should be planted in the hedge with a planting distance of at least 60, preferably 80 cm. Only then can this tree of life variety thrive.
If the planting distance is too small, the roots will not be adequately supplied with nutrients and moisture.
Tip
The location for Thuja should be as sunny as possible, or partially shaded at best. The tree of life does not thrive in the shade. Thuja also likes to be somewhat sheltered from the wind.
