Which types of beans have particularly beautiful flowers?

When and how do beans bloom?
The bean blooms - depending on the sowing - usually from mid to late May for a few weeks. The flowers, which are about one to two centimeters in size, consist of a cup-like base and a “lid”. After flowering, the butterfly flowers turn into elongated pods. Colored beans often also have beautifully colored pods and beans.
The flower of the runner bean
The runner bean gets its name from its flowers, because it blooms fiery red from June to September, depending on the sowing. The runner bean is a climbing bean and therefore requires a climbing aid. And it's not just the flowers that are colorful, the seeds with their strong purple tone are also definitely worth the wait until the late harvest.
The flower of the broad beans
The broad bean, also known as broad bean or broad bean, usually flowers in multiple colors. The combination of white and black is particularly common, with the inner part of the cup-like flower being black. But there are also blood-red flowering varieties such as the crimson broad bean. The flower of the trout bean
A particularly pretty and delicately flowering bean variety is the runner bean “Trout Bean”. It blooms – which is probably where the name comes from – salmon-colored. Their seeds are marbled purple-white. This bean also needs a climbing aid.

If you prefer a soft white color in your garden, simply choose one of the countless white-flowering bean varieties. Think carefully about whether you want to grow a pole or Bosch bean. Pole beans grow taller and require climbing support. During flowering, a curtain of white or other colored flowers is created.
