Anubias (spear leaves) are robust plants that beautify the aquarium as epiphytes. Since they contain bitter substances, they are spurned by herbivorous aquarium inhabitants.
How do you mount Anubias in the aquarium?
To tie up Anubias, use yarn, fishing line or covered binding wire. Carefully place the plant on a stone or root, wrap the binding material around the rhizome and secure it to the back of the substrate.

Anubias barteri and its numerous varieties are suitable for the middle ground in the aquarium. The smaller Anubias nana looks particularly good in the foreground. With a maximum size of 3 to 4 cm, Anubias nana bonsai is also suitable for the nano aquarium.
