The latter can change color over the course of the flowering period in sunny locations. The crown fades to a pale yellow. The “Professor Einstein” daffodil also offers a special sight, whose creamy white wreath is adorned by an orange to red crown. The poet's daffodil “Actaea” even has a two-tone secondary crown: it is yellow on the inside and has a red edge. Together with the white flower wreath it is tri-colored.
