You can combine delphiniums with floribunda roses, yellow coneflowers, summer daisies, daylilies, sedum, cranesbill or switchgrass to create varied and harmonious garden arrangements. Pay attention to flower colors, flowering time, location requirements and height of the companion plants.
What factors should you consider when combining delphiniums?
You should consider certain factors when combining delphiniums in order to enjoy the interaction with the companion plants in the long term:
- Flower color: blue, white, pink or violet
- Flowering time: June to September
- Site requirements: sunny, loamy-sandy and moderately moist soil
