The native wild blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) grows as adwarf shrub with a maximum height of around 50 centimeters. In nature, as a root creeper, it often forms carpets that can be up to 1,000 square meters in size.

Since blueberries prefer slightly acidic soil, they should be planted in rhododendron soil. For young plants, it is recommended to cut off the flowers in the first two years to accelerate growth.
