It's not for nothing that the pipe bush is one of the most popular native ornamental shrubs in the garden. From spring to summer, the shrub, also known as false jasmine, is covered in numerous large, white flowers, whose stamens glow yellow in the sun.
When is the flowering time of the pipe bush?
The main flowering period of the pipe bush is from spring to summer, with the first flowers appearing in May or June depending on the variety and continuing to grow until mid or late July. The white, partly fragrant flowers are characterized by yellow stamens.

The first flowers of the pipe bush open in May or June, depending on the variety. The shrub continues to produce new flowers until mid to late July.
The white flowers can be double or unfilled depending on the variety. They grow to be several centimeters tall and look particularly decorative thanks to their yellow stamens.
The prerequisite, however, is that you cut the pipe bush very carefully, if at all. If you prune too hard, remove the flower-bearing branches that form on the main shoots.
Tip
Not every pipe bush develops sweet-smelling flowers. If you want to care for a false jasmine that exudes its typical scent, you should do a smell test to the gardener before purchasing. You can also propagate such varieties via cuttings.
