In addition to the right location, the right pot also determines the success or failure of rose culture. Roses are deep-rooted and therefore do not necessarily need a wide pot, but rather a very tall one. The rose 'Leonardo da Vinci' should also be planted in a pot that is at least 50 centimeters high. Also choose natural, breathable material such as clay so that the roots do not heat up excessively in summer.

Naturally, potted plants require significantly more care, after all, the plant cannot take care of itself. The root ball of the rose 'Leonardo da Vinci' must not dry out, but it must also not be watered excessively. Always water when the substrate is already slightly dry - then the soil should be slightly moist, but not wet. Regular fertilization is also essential; as heavy feeders, roses depend on an adequate supply of nutrients. It is best to use a special rose fertilizer for this.

From the long-flowering rose 'Leonardo da Vinci', regularly remove everything that has faded during the summer so that the plant is continually stimulated to produce new flowers.
