It takes teamwork to transport a beach chair. Carry the beach chair with two people or use aids such as wheelbarrows or hand trucks. In winter you should protect the beach chair from frost and, if necessary, take it to winter quarters.
Transport beach chair without damage
Transporting a beach chair within the garden is a difficult matter. Depending on the material, the basket is very heavy and unfortunately unwieldy. You can't simply disassemble most woven beach chairs. Under no circumstances should you simply drag the beach chair across the lawn or terrace, as you would damage the surface or even the beach chair itself.
If you need to transport a beach chair, you need help. The beach chair can be carried by two or more people, at least over short distances.

So that you don't have to transport the beach chair too often, you should look for a location in the garden where it can stay from March to October.

Even if the beach chair is designated as weatherproof, that does not automatically mean that it can easily survive freezing temperatures. To ensure that the beach chair remains attractive and intact for a long time, it is best to transport it to a protected place such as the garage in winter.

If the wicker of the beach chair comes apart or is damaged during transport, it is not that easy to repair. Minor damage can be repaired with repair kits. Any major damage should be left to a specialist.
