Description
This green lung of Hamburg covers an area of 45 hectares. Extensive green areas are pleasantly shaded by impressive trees. Beautifully landscaped plant borders and flower beds structure the area and ensure a varied design. Lakes and babbling streams run through the park and create islands of relaxation. The many seating furniture, often placed in particularly quiet, cozy places, are not only used by employees of the surrounding companies to relax.
Integrated into the park is Europe's largest Japanese Garden, an island of tranquility in the middle of the urban jungle designed according to the rules of Asian garden art. The rose and apothecary gardens with their variety of scents and colors are further visitor magnets. Lovers of exotic plants will get their money's worth in the display greenhouses. The community gardens with their seasonally changing appearance invite you to stroll and linger.
