How do I properly overwinter bush basil?
In order to successfully overwinter shrub basil, it should be brought indoors before the first frosty days and maintained at a room temperature of 15-20 °C, in a bright and airy location and with moderate and regular watering. Drafts and proximity to heating should be avoided.
Lack of winter suitability
Shrub basil is perennial, but in this country it sometimes has to go through harsh winters. But unfortunately, unfortunately it is not winter hardy! Direct confrontation with sub-zero temperatures inevitably results in one's life. But even just above zero, its vitality is threatened.

On still warm autumn days, the basil can soak up light and warmth in a south-facing window. It doesn't stop growing and you can continue to harvest from it. However, in winter it deserves a rest. Place the pot cooler and adjust the care.
