Which location is best for the Strelitzia?
The ideal location for a Strelitzia is sunny, warm and humid, with temperatures between 10 and 25 °C. It can be left outside on the balcony or terrace in summer and can tolerate full midday sun. High humidity and a permeable, moderately nutrient-rich substrate are optimal.

- do not expose to accumulated heat
- optimally suitable: bright bathroom and kitchen (there is high humidity there)
The parrot flower has little demands on the soil. It is best to plant it in a pot with a well-drained substrate. A clayey-gravelly base works well. The soil should be moderately nutrient-rich and loose.
