Worth a detour: The Museum Nature & Environment Lübeck
Here you can get up-close insights into the natural history of Schleswig-Holstein. For example, did you know that various species of whales roamed this region around 11 million years ago? The fossil whale chain, which is unique in Europe and was found near Groß Pampau, bears witness to this and can be admired alongside many other exhibits in the museum.
