If you have trimmed your wisteria incorrectly, there is no need to worry as it will recover quickly. Be sure to water adequately, avoid over-fertilizer, and expect a possible decline in blooms this year.
Can my wisteria still be saved?
Although you may need a little patience until your wisteria blooms again, it can definitely be saved. Have you shortened some shoots too much and cut off all the flower buds? The wisteria will sprout again very soon. As a result of the pruning, it now grows denser and should perhaps be thinned out a little the next time it is cut.
Does my wisteria now need special care?
