Why yellow angel trumpet leaves are bad
From the point of view of the aesthetes among exotic plant fans, there is of course one answer to this question: it looks ugly. And with an ornamental plant this is a particularly significant problem. On the other hand, yellowing of the leaves is caused by a loss of chlorophyll content, which in turn limits photosynthesis and thus the overall growth energy. The result is a reduced overall vitality and also a reduction in flowers.

Nutrient Deficiency

Waterlogging
The angel trumpet is not only hungry, but also thirsty. However, she doesn't like waterlogging either. Good drainage in the form of a layer of expanded clay in the lower substrate is therefore important. Then you can water them regularly and vigorously without any problems.
Spider mite infestation
The leaves can also turn yellow if there is a spider mite infestation. You can clearly recognize it by the additional, silvery speckled coating on the leaves and the typical webs. The best way to deal with spider mites is to shower with water or soapy water.
