Many people think of Good Henry as a weed that grows wild in unused areas. But this plant is actually an old cultivated vegetable that was only displaced from the garden by spinach. He likes to return to a suitable location.
Which location is ideal for Good Heinrich?
The ideal location for Guten Heinrich is a place with lots of sun or partial shade, on fresh, nutrient-rich and humus-rich soil. In such a location, the plant can thrive for several years without a decline in growth.
Sun and partial shade
The Good Henry grows well in locations that offer it plenty of sun, although it doesn't despise partially shaded places. Shade, on the other hand, should be completely avoided when growing it, as growth leaves a lot to be desired.
Ideal soil conditions
The soil in which Good Heinrich is rooted should ideally be as follows:
- fresh
- nutrient-rich
- humos
A permanent place for many years
If Good Henry has accepted a location after sowing and is therefore well rooted, it can continue to grow for several years without slowing down in growth.
Tip
Good Heinrich is a good neighbor. It doesn't mind the proximity of other perennials.
