To overwinter Cyprus grass properly, place it in a bright place with temperatures between 15 and 18 °C, preferably in the bathroom or bedroom. First cut it back, keep the substrate moist, spray regularly with lime-free water and check for pests. Do not fertilize during wintering.

Before you go to the winter quarters, you should cut back your Cyprus grass a little. When choosing your wintering quarters, you should pay attention to the following points:
- bright
- moderately warm 15 to 18 °C
- not below 10 °C
- best in the bathroom or bedroom
- not in the living room or in heated rooms

- check for pest infestation (thrips, red spider, mealybugs)
