Even if you design your garden to be low-maintenance, you will hardly be spared the occasional weeding. If bending down is difficult, you don't have to resort to chemical weapons to keep weeds at bay. With suitable equipment, weeds can be removed while standing and the work is much easier.
How to pull weeds without bending over?
To effectively pull weeds without bending over, use ergonomic equipment with a long handle, such as a hoe, cultivator or pendulum hoe. Work after rainfall or moisten the soil and use mulches to prevent weed growth.
Weed – what is it?

Removing weeds from the cracks in the paving slabs
Joint scrapers are also available with a long handle. Make sure that the tool has a V-shaped cutting edge, as this makes cleaning noticeably easier. Electric or gas-powered flame burners, which use heat to destroy plants growing in the joints, are very helpful. These can then simply be swept away.
Tip
There is special joint sand that compacts so much that weed seeds can no longer sprout. Thanks to its fine grain size, Dansand penetrates deep into the paving cracks and completely fills any cavities. Nevertheless, the joints are permeable to water, so that no puddles form even in prolonged rainy weather. This material will keep your paved areas weed-free for many years.
