Why does my Phalaenopsis have yellow leaves?
Yellow leaves on a Phalaenopsis orchid can be caused by too much or too little fertilizer, incorrect watering, low humidity, incorrect temperature or diseases and pests. Correct the care conditions to resolve the issue.
Why do the leaves turn yellow?
If the leaves of the Phalaenopsis become limp and/or yellow, the first thing you should do is check the water supply. Have you perhaps watered the orchid too much? Although it needs a relatively large amount of water during the growth phase, it cannot tolerate waterlogging at all. Fertilizer errors or a pest infestation can also be the cause of yellow leaves.
