Proudly upright flower candles are what set the articular flower apart from other perennials. In order for the individual flowers attached to them to form in abundance, the right location is crucial.
Which location is best for the joint flower?
The ideal location for the joint flower is sunny to partially shaded, as it blooms best in these conditions. It can be planted in beds, borders, along water edges or in the background of garden designs. Shade locations reduce flowering.
It can be almost any location
The more light the articular flower receives, the more it blooms. Therefore, you should offer it a sunny to partially shaded location. If necessary, it can also grow in the shade. However, it is a little slower to bloom there. Suitable locations can be found, for example:
- in beds
- in discounts
- on the edges of water such as garden ponds
- in the background (growth height up to 120 cm)
Attention: Often uninvited urge to spread
What many perennial friends don't know before planting: the articular flower likes to spread through its seeds without being asked. If you don't want that, you should quickly cut off the withered flowers or plant the joint flower straight away where it can spread.
Tip
The joint flower looks fantastic next to asters, speedwell, sage, yarrow, lavender, pennisetum and other ornamental grasses!
