What does the quince flower look like?
The quince flowers appear between May and June and are 5 centimeters in diameter. It is fivefold, radially symmetrical, with white-pink petals and hairy sepals. The quince is hermaphrodite and self-pollinates.
Special features
On the quince tree, the flowers open directly at the tips of the branches. These only thrive on new shoots. These are annuals and die back at the end of the growing season. This should be taken into account when cutting.
